Samantha L. Charlebois B.A. (Hons), J.D.

Samantha L. Charlebois is a dedicated family law practitioner and the founder of SLC Legal Solutions. A 2017 graduate of Algoma University with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice, Samantha went on to pursue her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, where she graduated in 2020. Shortly thereafter, she successfully passed the Ontario Bar examinations and was called to the bar in October 2020.

Throughout her academic journey, Samantha demonstrated a strong commitment to serving her community. During law school, she was deeply involved with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) where she was placed at the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship centre. Samantha continued with PBSC and was selected to be the student coordinator in her third year of study. She also gained invaluable experience at the Community Legal Service Clinic on campus, where she advocated for basic human rights for Ontario residents.

Following law school, Samantha began her legal career at the former firm of O'Neill DeLorenzi Nanne. Under the mentorship of Mr. Michael O'Neill and the Honourable Justice Brian DeLorenzi, she honed her legal skills in complex matters. She has appeared in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, representing clients in a wide range of family law issues, including decision-making responsibility (custody), parenting time (access), child support, spousal support, property division, and divorce.

In 2025, Samantha took the next step in her career by founding SLC Legal Solutions, where she focuses on providing personalized legal solutions to her clients. In addition to her court practice, she is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods and is committed to helping clients resolve their family law matters outside of the courtroom whenever possible.

Samantha's dedication to family law is matched only by her passion for advocating for her clients’ best interests, ensuring that each case is handled with care, empathy, and professionalism.
